Club History
The noon Kiwanis club of Central DuPage was formed from the Wheaton and Glen Ellyn evening clubs and was chartered in December, 1990 with 41 members. The first club president, Phil Hartweg, was reelected in 2006.
Nine of the club's charter members are still active in the club. The club's peak membership was 51 members between 1993 and 1995.
The club's first service project was distributing food at the People's Resource Center during the Christmas season in 1990.
The first interclub was at the Wheaton club on January 22, 1991.
